When Tom and I were there, he wasn't that impressed with the beer, but the food was good, and it's an actual Catholic Church that was converted to a brewery when the diocese had to sell the building because the population in the area shrank. The brewery part is up on the altar. No kidding. It's gorgeous, and totally worth trying with the other seminarians.

Re: Twitter Recommends: Where to Eat in Pittsburgh?

I think Royal Carribean is next to Red Room, which would be the decent/yuppie bar on Highland.

Plus, I'm a big fan of Enrico's Biscotti in the Strip!
http://hungrycanuck.blogspo...

Oh, and I forgot to mention, D's Dog's and Six Pack in Regent Square is also pretty awesome.

Re: Twitter Recommends: Where to Eat in Pittsburgh?

i'm glad you found the sharp edge!!! that's been my local establishment for about the last 10+ years....ahhhh beer. ahhhhhh belgian beer. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Re: Twitter Recommends: Where to Eat in Pittsburgh?

Thanks!

It appears the closest one to me is on 3703 Forbes Ave
Google Maps
and website

Re: Twitter Recommends: Where to Eat in Pittsburgh?

Ooo! You have to do breakfast at one of the many Pamela's for breakfast. Those were all great recommendations. Also for fancy schmancy dinner on Mt. Washington, go to Monterey Bay Fish Grotto for AWESOME seafood. You get a breathtaking view!
